Slide 12 The Retreat

The small D4 class bulldozer we rented for the extraction effort was "stopped" by a small slab of off camber rock. The dozer operator, in the operator's seat, used to work at Pima Copper Mine. While at the mine, he rolled a D9 into the pit, causing him to be very goosey about side hills. As such, when he encountered the side hill in the shadow, he declared "its not worth it" and elected to decline. In Bob's right hand is the HT with phone patch he used to call for the truck.

When the truck arrived and the driver learned of the situation, he declaired that he would do it and that he was not afraid of some "chicken shit side hill". So, the they switched roles and the extraction was back on track.
